WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE PURCHASING A MEMORIAL
In order to insure maximum fluidity in your memorial purchase, here's what you need to know:

What are the restrictions for your loved one(s)'s specific plot?
No two cemeteries are the same in what their rulings are and often times there are different sections within the cemeteries that will have variations in rulings. Know the restrictions that are set in place for your plot specifically. Does it have to be a flat marker? Are there size limitations on the length or heighth? Does the cemetery have banned emblems such as sports teams or less socially accepted signs? Does a second interment have to be paid up front in cases with one still surviving companion? Serenity does not and will not keep up with various cemetery restrictions. There will not be any refund issued for purchased memorials that have been rejected.

Can I have a flower vase with my memorial?
Not every cemetery allows for flower vases. Some require that flower vases be directly purchased through their facility. Serenity offers a small variety of vase options. Square-tapered and round granite vases can be adhered to the base of an upright memorial or cement foundation. Upright metal vases can be as well. In-ground vases are a requirement for green-grass cemeteries and the only option offered for online purchase.

Do you have the means of installing the memorial?
Serenity does not offer delivery or installation. Items must be picked up in an open-bed truck or trailer (unless otherwise permitted by Serenity) or items can be shipped to a designated signee. Whether it goes directly to the cemetery, to a funeral home or to a residential address, we must be able to have a scheduled receiver.

Serenity has 3rd party installation resources for Valencia and neighboring counties but Serenity will not be involved in the installation process. Those outside of servicable areas are advised to reach out to services such as funeral homes, neighboring cemeteries, landscapers and contractors for resources that may be able to aid in installations.

Is there a budget you are trying to stay within?
Memorials can be a big investment, but through Serenity they are a lasting investment. Serenity only deals in granite headstones along with the best available processing materials to insure the memorial you are receiving, whether small or large, is of the utmost quality. Due to the unique industry, memorials must be paid in full before being made. If our sales associate knows what your desired budget is than we are able to narrow down the possibly overwhelming amount of options and figure out the memorial best suited for your wants and needs.

Are there any family matters that will prevent finalization?
Serenity understands that this is a hard time for many families and that there is a possibility that differences in opinions will arrise. The purchaser of the memorial is not always the person(s) that own the interment rights. If there are any conflicts in the matter the plot owner(s) has the deciding factor on whether the stone can be placed on that site. There will not be any refund issued for purchased memorials that have been rejected.
